I don’t know why I overlooked Nirvana for so long. The interior is really delightful with comfy chairs, big tables, and the outright Indian decor as you would expect, complete with Indian music and three huge tvs playing authentic Bollywood films. We started with spinach pekora and samosas. The former was crunchy, not greasy, slightly salty spinach flavor, and the latter crunchy on the outside with potatoes and peas inside for a context of texture – yummy. Both perfectly seasoned and i could have made a meal from both. Then we had shared mains including butter chicken, lamb rogan josh, and my favorite, the allu mattar makhani. We also had a mixed bread basket with several types of naan. All authentic, all delicious. But everything needed more heat. No need to make it super spicy, but this is Indian food and I’d like a tad more zing. Service was impeccable and friendly. And very reasonably priced. We’ll definitely go back.
